G+_Graham Forte Posted January 10, 2013 Share Posted January 10, 2013 Android vs. iOS App Parity The only glaring omission from Google Play are the must have parent apps from the Disney Channel. My wife and I are all Android, so when she asks me to get any of these apps, I have to explain it's not available. And, now that CES has finished this year, and the sheer number of Android tablets aimed at children, it would behoove them to release these apps. And, similar to Facebook, they will not be able to ignore the 'droids! Finally, as far as developing for both platforms, I created an app a couple of years ago (and unfortunately I haven't had any time to update it), but would require my buying an Apple computer to develop and submit apps to iTunes.
