Some differences are that it uses a transistor rather than a small relay to drive the coil on the big relay, plus it has an LED to show when the coil is energized. This schematic shows the big relay as Single Pole Double Throw (as I mentioned) but only shows two connections to the relay terminals, with the third not being used for some reason. That would make it Single Pole, Single Throw, and I believe Normally - Open. Not sure why they don't show a connection to the NC terminal. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
