G+_Andrew Baclawski
Jason and the Gang, I would like to know what you think about Android Pay forcing people to put a lock on their phone versus what Google Wallet did, which is make you have a PIN code for the app. I don't think it is fair for Google to force people to the point of locking their phone to use the app. We would not allow that from any other developer, why should Google being any different. My wife has decided to not use Android Pay now because of it. I am waiting to see what the price of the new Nexus phones are as I was told from Google Project Fi tech support that the new Nexus phones with be Project Fi compatible. My current phone is the Samsung Note 2 from Sprint. Thank you again and the TVFoodMaps App has my vote. Thank you, Curtis Bolt
G+_Christopher Copping
I am not obviously Jason Howell??, but I have used both Google Wallet and Android Pay, so I thought I would offer my opinion. To be honest, I share your feelings. I felt more secure using Google Wallet, because I knew that payments could only be made when the app was open. I also felt like I had an extra layer of security because my Google Wallet pin was different than my lock screen pin. That being said, with Android pay, it is nice when I am surfing Google+ in line at a store, and it becomes my turn, that I can just tap and pay rather than load the app. My suggestion/recommendation to Google would be, do what they do for purchases in the Play store. Give you the option to set up Android pay ask for your pin in each transaction/every 30 minutes/ or no pin required. Just my thoughts.?
