G+_Snuffy Sims
The Google Play store hides devices by using crummy UI. This is the web version, of course, since I can't buy devices from my phone. Never understood that. The row of Google Play Edition devices doesn't wrap, and it doesn't bleed or extend past the edge of the page. It just stops putting devices in the row. So if you're window is small, or if your screen is small, you can't see all the devices. On my MacBook Air, even when it's full screen, I only see four out of the six available GPE devices. People complain about how badly GPE devices are marketed, but this is just flat-out negligence. The play store is the only place where you can buy these devices, and they aren't even being displayed to all users who look for them.
G+_Shaun Snee
That's the same display I have on a large (20+ inch) monitor. You have to click the "see more" button.
G+_Alan Char
Shaun Snee Sounds like your 20 inch monitor has a similar number of pixels as my laptop. Having to click the "see more" button when there are only a handful of devices is still crummy UI. Especially when the button is above the list. If I move my browser window partially off screen and make it wide enough, it eventually shows all six devices. Handling six devices the same way they handle hundreds of apps is being foolishly consistent (as in small minds) or just plain lazy. I can't see them doing this if they had five or six Nexus devices. G+_Shaun Snee
I stand corrected, they all showed up when I stretched the window onto the second monitor.
