G+_Richard Sequeira
Apple Watch: The Reviews Are in, and They're Ugly While some of the flowery language of the many Apple Watch reviews might lull you into thinking Apple had hit a "Home Run", reading the specific complaints about the product tells a very different story. From the reviews, Apple Watch is: 1) Not very stylish. 2) Not "Novice User Friendly". 3) Not very good as a music player. 4) Slow. 5) Doesn't run apps very well. 6) Not a very good fitness tracker. 7) Requires Siri, but Siri is still very unreliable. 8) Distracting. 9) Needs both hands to operate. 10) Not very good as a watch. For my money, that list represents a straight failure. Every promise, every supposed appeal of the product is undermined by real world performance. Don't get me wrong, as I'm not rushing out to buy Android Wear yet, either. While wearables are a desirable growth market for Apple and Google, the question of whether most people really need one yet, at current costs, is a legitimate one. For me, the answer is, "Not yet." And I suspect that, for all the push around wearables, smartwatches won't produce the sorts of growth of smartphones or tablets without an extremely compelling use case, or bottom-of-the-barrel prices. #AppleWatch #Wearables http://www.businessinsider.com/apple-watch-reviews-are-bad-2015-
G+_Mark Harry
I had an iPhone 4 for 18 months of purgatory, iOS is horrid. I considered a Moto 360 for about 2 seconds, it's a solution looking for a problem as all smart watches are.
