G+_kevin jones
The confusion about the new Google Wallet + Android Pay doesn't seem super justified. Android Pay is literally just for paying. It runs transactions. Google Wallet is a place to put money. An account, billfold, whatever your favorite metaphor. You can link Wallet to Pay so funds come from the or to whatever else you put in as your source of funds. Granted that the transition was clumsy but the borders aren't actually so fuzzy as I keep hearing people describe.
G+_M. L. Hunt
Yeah, it was kinda annoying having to download the Pay app (or was it the new Wallet app? One automatically replaced the old Wallet app, one I had to proactively install) and set it up, but once I updated and linked my Wallet Card to Pay, it was practically the same workflow. People just (1) don't like change, and (2) like to complain.
