G+_Daniel Charles
I just finished listening to last night's episode. I was a little surprised that no one pointed out how the Apple watch is square. I guess Gina Trapani mentioned that it was a wrist computer, but when the first android wear devices debuted everyone wanted a round screen and, so far, I haven't heard that criticism applied to the Apple watch. Does Apple still get to decide what's cool? Ron Richards Jason Howell
G+_Adam Bindslev
I had the same thought. When Samsung does a 5.5 inch phone it is a monster - iPhone 6 Plus is just big. When LG does a square watch it is ugly and its biggest fault is that it is not round. Until Apple Watch comes along. On the other hand - if Apple can blaze the way to general acceptance of wearables in the mainstream ... all the power to them. Then I will learn to shut up everytime a feature on the Apple Watch is touted as unique - even though the same exact feature is available on Android Wear (the vibration during navigation as the best example of this)
G+_Jason Howell (raygun01)
Yeah we did forget to mention that. To be honest, that Apple block was meant to last MAYBE 10 min cause Android fans generally complain when we talk too much about Apple on the show. And we had gone pretty long so we didn't get to say half of what I'm sure we all had in us on the topic. Oh well.
