G+_Marlon Thompson Posted March 30, 2014 Share Posted March 30, 2014 Streaming Twitch to your chromecast I don't totally get the watching other people play video game phenomena but Twitch has become extremely successful off of it. And this is a great chromecast app to do just that. its called Lakitu, and even though I saw it earlier in the week I didn't want to recommend it because of some dodgy permissions the app requested. The developer however is listening and responded to my query about it and removed them. The app is in active development and is much prettier than the native twitch app (which is horrible looking), its missing a few key features such as search and entering channel names you want to watch but these are coming in future updates. The chromecast streaming is well implemented and the app supports chat and it keeps a record of streams you have viewed. Even if you are not using it with a chromecast its still a solid app for viewing Twitch on your phone or tablet.
