G+_kevin jones
I'm resharing here since I know people here have opinions on the matter... Originally shared by Kyle Turpin Android launchers come in two flavors of seems - the regular launcher + themes or batshit crazy unusable. I'm using Aviate now but development has all but stopped since the Yahoo acquisition. Any suggestions that don't fall into the above categories? G+_L I
Action Launcher? I think Microsoft has a launcher as well.

G+_Kyle Turpin
My impression of Nova and Action launcher was that they fall into the "themes + the same old home screen", is there more to them that isn't showing in the screens and reviews?
G+_Kyle Turpin
I've tried Action and Nova now. Nova is pretty solidly just a theme able generic launcher. Action gives the quick tray which is nice but not earth shaking. Nothing jumps out as really usefully different.
G+_L I
Z Launcher is the one by Nokia. Not sure if Microsoft bought that too. You might also try some alternative launcher overlays like SwipePad, Hangar, Switchr, Lazy Swipe, or App Swap
