A global study done by the security company Symantec shown that the Android platform represents the main target of attacks between the mobile devices. The study had identified 103 threats and 13 security breaches only for this platform. This preference of Android by not well-intended persons, is due to his popularity (is predicted that 72% of all mobile devices run on Android), and second, because is a more flexible and “open-source” platform which facilitates the installation of malware. Systems like the Android have the urgent need to find a way to of fixing vulnerabilities that can came up at a large scale, without being dependent of the approval of their many partners. Due to this fact, a researcher decided to study some Samsung Android devices e quickly found out that some bugs and vulnerabilities are caused only by modification that Samsung done to the operating system, without affecting the global operating system per se. This bugs were found in the Galaxy Tab and Samsung Galaxy S3 devices.
